The EDP Foundation provides energy access to poor, non-electrified communities. Its projects have been implemented in many areas across Africa and South America, bringing sustainable energy solutions to thousands of people in need.
But then we had a thought:
If we lived in those areas facing the problems those people face,
how hard would it be to make this brochure?

AND SO WE DECIDED TO MAKE IT UNDER THE SAME CONDITIONS PEOPLE HAVE THERE.
EVERYTHING WAS MADE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY.
From writing and designing
To producing the actual materials
Burning the lithographic plate in the sun
Producing an artisan paper
Printing hundreds of brochures manually
And folding all of them by hand
Even the process was documented manually
The making of was shot in a LomoKino and the photos were taken with an old reflex camera.
